Taylor Jenkinson serves as Chief Operating Officer at Financial Enhancement Group, where he helps ensure the firm operates smoothly, effectively, and efficiently. His work touches many areas of the organization, and he partners closely with department heads to make sure teams have the tools, support, and direction they need to serve families well.
Taylor’s role is deeply connected to problem solving and team support. Much of his work happens behind the scenes, helping teammates remove roadblocks, answer questions, improve processes, and create a stronger experience for the families FEG serves. He enjoys knowing that when he helps the internal team succeed, that support ultimately extends to the families who rely on FEG.
Before joining FEG, Taylor spent six years working in his family’s insurance agency, which was founded in 1931. His path into service began even earlier. As a young boy, he watched his grandfather care for the families served through the agency, and that example helped shape Taylor’s desire to help people for a living. After graduating from Purdue University, Taylor spent time exploring different roles before receiving a call about an opportunity at FEG’s Lafayette office, a step that ultimately brought him into the work he does today.
Taylor earned his bachelor’s degree in Financial Counseling and Planning from Purdue University. He also served as a Student Council member for Purdue’s College of Health and Human Sciences, formerly known as the College of Consumer and Family Sciences. Outside of work, Taylor and his wife, Rachel, have four children, Hannah Mae, Cora, Oaklee, and Bennett. They enjoy watching and playing sports, going on family walks, spending time at the park, and being actively involved in their church community.
