Joseph A. Clark serves as Managing Partner of Financial Enhancement Group and is the founder of Financial Enhancement Group Trust Services. With more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, Joe helps guide the firm’s long-term vision, governance, ownership philosophy, and strategic direction while continuing to champion the planning process that has shaped FEG’s work with families for decades.
Joe partners with families to help plan their financial journey using FEG’s Family Focus® Process. His passion is bringing the right people and perspectives together so families receive thoughtful, coordinated guidance. He especially enjoys collaborating with external professionals, including CPAs and attorneys, to help align planning conversations around the family’s goals, priorities, and long-term needs.
As Managing Partner, Joe serves as a governance leader and representative of the shareholder group. He provides strategic counsel to the Managing Director, supports the firm’s mission and long-range planning, and helps maintain continuity around ownership philosophy, shareholder standards, succession, and enterprise value. His leadership is rooted in stewardship, integrity, judgment, diplomacy, and a deep commitment to protecting the future of the firm for the families and teammates it serves.
Before co-founding FEG, Joe built a career centered on financial planning, education, and advocacy. He formerly served as an adjunct assistant professor at Purdue University and as the director of governmental relations for the Indianapolis chapter of the Financial Planning Association. Those experiences reflect his long-standing belief in education, leadership, and helping families make informed financial decisions.
Outside of work, Joe and his wife, Barbara, attend Northview Church, Anderson Campus. When they are not serving FEG families, they enjoy time with their daughters, grandchildren, and rescue lab. Joe is an avid golfer, SCUBA diver, hiker, and world traveler.
