Adam Harter serves as Chief Investment Officer at Financial Enhancement Group, where he leads the firm’s investment strategy and portfolio oversight. His work helps turn market research, analysis, and portfolio strategy into clear, practical context for advisors, teammates, and the families FEG serves.
Adam has spent more than two and a half decades in investment and advisory work. Since joining FEG in 2002, he has helped guide the firm’s investment approach through changing market environments, bringing discipline, perspective, and careful analysis to the planning process. His work includes investment research, portfolio strategy, fixed income oversight, and translating market developments into guidance that supports better informed decisions.
At FEG, Adam enjoys bringing analysis and context to the table. He understands that markets can feel complex and overwhelming, and he values the opportunity to help advisors and families make sense of what is happening and why it matters. His leadership helps support FEG’s broader commitment to thoughtful, fiduciary care.
Adam earned his bachelor's degree in economics from Indiana University and has been a CFA® charter holder since 2009. He also contributes weekly market commentary and educational content for FEG. Outside of work, Adam and his wife, Andrea, live in Central Indiana with their two sons, a dog, and a cat. He enjoys church, golfing, reading, and anything involving Indiana University sports.
